Stephanie Bixler, Founder and CEO of Synapsum

STEPHANIE BIXLER, FOUNDER & CEO

Rooted by her hands-on experience working across supply chain and sales, Stephanie has a clear vision to deploy operational data across the front office to grow profits and customer value.

Prior to founding Synapsum, Stephanie served as the Senior Vice President at Scholastic in the COO/CTO office. In this role, Stephanie led applied data and technology-teams that delivered improvements to business segment profit and working capital.  Stephanie spent the first stretch of her career with Deloitte Consulting working with Fortune 500 customers on digital and sales transformation, restructuring, costing analytics, and process redesign.

Stephanie holds an MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and a BA from Washington University in St. Louis.

Michael Janiak, Head of Synapsum Data & Analytics

mICHAEL JANIAK, HEAD OF DATA

Michael brings deep experience applying technical data capabilities to transform enterprise businesses with a practical approach.

Michael previously served as SVP of Scholastic’s Data & Analytics group responsible for data science/machine learning, BI, data engineering, digital analytics, and marketing automation. In this role, he supported decision-making, automation, and process redesign in warehouse and inventory, sales and marketing, and finance. Prior to that, Michael led data-based consulting and M&A work for Private Equity and multinational businesses.

Michael started his career as a Mechanical Design Engineer for an Australian medical device maker. Michael holds a Master of BioMedical Engineering and Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia.

MATT ESTERLY, HEAD OF ENGINEERING

Matt brings engineering magic to Synapsum with an impressive track record building and scaling SaaS applications since dotcom days.

Matt spent the last few decades developing the largest behavioral model for marketing email engagement analytics SaaS and product lifecycle management software for Foxconn, Celestica and the Microsoft XBox team. More recently, Matt grew a payment processor team that contributed to 4x business growth. Prior to joining Synapsum, Matt led engineering at Anedot with his achievements featured in Atlantis engineering.

Outside of Synapsum-life, Matt enjoys time with his wife and boys, mountain biking, and skiing the the pacific northwest.
